Annie is 8 years old!!!

Saturday night we sang happy birthday to annie and had homemade icecream and chocolate cake. Grandma and Grandpa Dayley and the Shumway family came to celebrate with us. It was a fun night.

Annie is such a great sister to Hannah. She is so patient and kind to her. For those that know our sweet Hannah she has a very quit whit and is demanding child. She keeps us all laughing and enjoying each other.

Grandma and Grandpa Dayley always give the kids $20 in $1dollar bills. They think it is a fabulous gift!

We celebrated Annie's 8th birthday with Lila again this year. First we went to a darling movie, Ramona and Beezus. I enjoyed the whole movie, so did the girls.

Then if was off to lunch. Annie chose our families favorite, Gecko Grille. Grant, Katie, James and Hannah met us for lunch.

Then we were off to the San Tan mall to get Annie's ear pierced. While we waited for Grant, James and Hannah we had a photo shoot at the mall. Here are some of the pictures.

One of Annie's talents is she has a happy countenance. She is always smiling and happy. She brings so much happiness to our family.

Annie also has a lot of energy! She moves all day long, especially as it gets closer to bed. Then when she lies down for bed it takes about 2-3 minutes and she is fast asleep. She probably gets that talent from her mom.

Claires is a little girls dream store. So many cool things you can buy. Lila found lots of things she loved!

I guess these are the "cool" glasses that everyone wears at school. James... you should get them.

Count to three and your ears are pierced! That was the expression on her face the moment the earrings were through.

She has been waiting until her 8th birthday for her ears to be pierced. She is very happy.

I get the honor of cleaning them the very first time.

What a great day! I love you Annie. You are my favorite 8 year old. Thank you for being such a valiant, fun, energetic, happy daughter/friend. I love you.
