Pioneer Trek

Summertime is when all Mormon kids go on the pioneer trek all over the country. James was ready to work hard, eat less and feel the Spirit!

The Day before he left James got his drivers permit. He is now official and can drive!  What an exciting time of life.  

Our cousins Jay and Joe were here in AZ visiting so they lucked out and got to go on the trek with James.  Alice went the week before with her Stake.

After they were gone for 4 days living the life of a pioneer, pushing a hand cart, playing stick pull, camping and having spiritual lessons, I thought they would come back a lot more dirty.  They all had a great time.  Niki Coon sent them with stories from their pioneer ancestors they read the stories and discovered they had pioneer history.

James 15 years
