MLK day!

 Happy MLK day.  We celebrated our day off in the desert, out in Florence.  It was a beautiful day.  The weather was perfect, 70 degrees.  We took our Ranger and motorcycles and went on a GEO CACHE... treasure hunt.  We found 2 CACHES in the desert. One was at the foot of this huge cactus!

 Playing with cousins is the greatest!

 The other CACHE was buried in this bed of rocks.  In this rusty old tin can!

 James is almost as tall as his dad.  He is happy.

 When you find the cache you sign your name to the book.  

We signed it, "Coon family,  MLK day 2013

 PEZ was left in the rusted can.  You are suppose to sign the book and leave something in the can to add to the treasure!

I thought this jumping cactus was quite beautiful!  Just don't get to close.  It HURTS!

Look at the arms of this HUGE cactus.  CRAZY!
