A pretend PET!

For those people that know me well, they will be SHOCKED to see that our family had a pet for 4 days in our backyard.  Saturday morning I went out and found 2 little brown bunnies in our front yard.  We tried to get close but they hid in a bush, so went left them and went to the baptism of Nettie's boys.  When we came back we brought them some lettuce and water.  The bunnies belonged to our next door neighbors and they were out of town.  So we decided to put the bunnies in our backyard. That was a chore trying to catch them, they are fast!! After much work and many squeals from James, we finally had the bunnies in our backyard.
On Tuesday night our neighbors brought a bucket for us to catch them and bring them back.  This little bunny hid behind in the corner and wouldn't budge.

James chased that scared bunny all over our dead lawn,  finally he caught it.  Annie and Hannah had so much fun bringing them carrots and lettuce. They sat outside a lot and watched them.  Me... I am glad they went home.  It was just a testimony to me that I am really happy without a pet.
